Privacy policy

This site uses no cookies and no tracking tools. I only collect personal data when you write to me or order a service.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Bohdan Demchuk, ul. Powstańców Warszawy 5/98, 22-100 Chełm, Polska, NIP 5632466310 (VAT-UE PL5632466310), REGON 544661571. Contact about your data: marketing@h1ky.com.

Emails (name, email address, message): to answer your question and prepare a quote. Basis: steps before a contract and legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Performing the contract (name, company, address, tax number, phone, materials for the Site): to build the Site or provide support. Basis: contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Invoices and accounting: to issue invoices and meet tax duties. Basis: legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
Possible claims: to pursue or defend against claims. Basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Visiting this site: Cloudflare’s servers record technical data (IP address, browser, time of visit) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Giving your data is voluntary, but without it I can’t reply or conclude a contract.

Data only goes to companies that help me run the business:
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland): payments. Stripe also processes card and payment data as a separate controller.
- Infakt sp. z o.o. (Poland): invoicing.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting this site and protecting it from attacks.
- My email provider.
- An accounting office, if I use one, and public authorities when the law requires it.
Some of these companies (e.g. Stripe, Cloudflare) may transfer data to the USA. This is based on a European Commission decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

Emails without an order: up to 12 months after the last message.
Contract data: for the length of the contract, then until claims expire (usually 6 years, often less for Consumers).
Invoices and accounting records: 5 years from the end of the year in which the tax payment was due.
Cloudflare technical data: briefly, under Cloudflare’s rules.

This site uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The currency switch only works on the open page.
If this changes (e.g. statistics with cookies), I’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent.
